Do you accept stray cats or cats that need to be rehomed ?
NO WE DO NOT. We are partnered with a rescue that is responsible for vetting and bringing cats to us ready for adoption. We do not have the ability or resources here to intake cats/kittens.
Do I need a reservation to visit in the cat room?
A reservation is highly recommended, especially on weekends, but not required. Reservations are accommodated first. We will begin to take walk ins 30 minutes before the top of the current hour. We cannot accept walk ins before that time as reservations are still taking place. Example: if you’d like to attend the 12:00 session, as a walk in you can pay and reserve that spot at 11:30 or after as space is available
Why do I have to pay to enter the cat lounge?
We set out to provide a free space for an animal rescue to be able to showcase some of their treasured adoptee’s. We do not charge the rescue, nor do we require them to give us any of the adoption fees. In order for us to give them free space, we need to charge a fee so we may be able to pay the rent that allows this relationship to exist. We offer ways for you to donate to their rescue on our website (see Donate) and in the cafe
Why are children under 7 not allowed in the cat lounge.
For the safety of both the children and the cats, only children 7 and older are allowed in the cat lounge. But don’t forget, we have viewing opportunities throughout the location. If you are considering adopting one of our kitties and want to see how the cat responds to a child under 7, we can make arrangements for a private visit with a member from the rescue team.
Do you serve beer & wine?
YES!! We have Corona, Miller Lite, Coors Lite, White Claw, white and red wines, Prosecco, and Moscato!!
Can I bring my cat in with me?
There are no outside pets allowed in the cat cafe. The state and local health departments will not allow pets outside of our rescue kitties into the building. But don’t worry, there’s plenty of cat love to go around while you visit!
Where do our cats come from?
Second Chance 4 Pets is a foster based rescue that has been helping place animals in loving homes since 2014. They will ensure that all cats are fully vetted before entering the Cat Cafe’. They will have complete comprehensive medical exams, be spayed/neutered/, fully vaccinated, and in good health.
